Limiting spam

It's going to be hard to limit spam the way we have it set right now. Does anyone know how to make those security number things? We might need those.

Or, we could limit access to people with non-free e-mail. And then, maybe we could make some exceptions for people that we know and have contacted us.

Any other ideas?

Youre on eBay I assume? To send a message, you have to enter the numbers/letters that are in a picture. I have no idea what they are called.

BTW, I like the fact it lets you know if someone posted while you were typing and allows you to edit your post based on that.

Yeah, with free boards like these I think spam can be a problem.

I know on some free boards that weren't properly moderated (like the one ex-TCC members mouthslammer and randallcards created), people created accounts and posted very vulgar topics.
